![]() I do hope however the series turns out, it will be better than what’s expected.Īlso, still think the Manga sends some unhealthy messages about body image, sexuality and self-confidence to younger girls. I want to be invested in it, but somehow it just gets more irritating with each new volume (oh geez, is that the Shinshi Doumei Cross effect all over again?). I was initially excited for Arina to tackle adult characters for an exchange, but all those supposed adults act like teenagers still in Middle School. The adult plot, while way more interesting, suffers from the characterization. I just find myself not caring enough about the Popstar plot. Both parts of the story don’t fall naturally together and so it feels more like two separate stories smashed together. ![]() I still think the Manga has an interesting overall idea, but the execution remains sloppy and not planned through. ![]() ![]() I don’t know if her writing has changed or if my taste just drastically changed over the years, maybe a bit of both. ![]() I mean sure, Arina‘s artwork is still as wonderful as it always has been, but the storytelling is just so childish. Eh.so who else saw the plot twist about Hina totally coming? ![]()
